Established in Jerusalem in 1973, Melitz is Israel's leading provider of Jewish-Zionist informal educational services.

Melitz programs strive to promote the importance of a Democratic Jewish state and to ensure Jewish unity by strengthening historical connections to the land of Israel, the Jewish people, and the Jewish cultural heritage, while creating a sense of joint destiny between Israeli and Diaspora Jews.

In a diverse Jewish world, Melitz programs stress the legitimacy of divergent views thus advocating tolerance and mutual respect amongst Jews.

For three decades Melitz has continuously been the preferred contractor to promote Jewish identity through education by many organizations including: The Israel ministries of Education and Absorption, The Jewish Agency for Israel, The United Jewish Communities, The United Israel Appeal of Canada, The Israel Defense Forces and many others.
