ECHO is a unique concept in Jewish education
that seeks to reveal and reclaim the colorful legacy of Jewish life in Europe,
prior to the Holocaust. ECHO captures this dynamic tapestry of history,
culture and community through travel and study, engaging participants in
meeting with living remnants of this Jewish past. This shared history is
the starting point for exploring the diversity of Jewish culture today.
ECHO's programs seek to enhance one's sense of Jewish
identity within the mosaic of Jewish diversity linking common threads
that make up the fabric of Jewish life.
ECHO programs include
educational trips to:
Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, Czechoslovakia, Ukraine, Germany (Berlin only),
Spain, Holland, France, Italy.
