Limmud, now a worldwide phenomenon which started in England over thirty years ago, is a volunteer driven festival of Jewish learning and culture which seeks to take participants one-step further on their Jewish journey. Limmud events are characterized by their pluralism, openness, creativity, and willingness to adapt to the local environment.
Melitz provides support to volunteer communities who develop Limmud events in Modiin, the Negev, and Jerusalem, attracting hundreds of participants representing the cross-section of the Jewish community who come together to learn from and with one another.
